I cannot recount all the things I've done in the name/for the sake of love. Many stupid, and foolish in retrospect, but all well intentioned and sweet. I can remember writing my first love note in 1st grade. I also remember the response, which although completely illegible and filled with words that were some sort of combination of letters, but formed no real words. Nevertheless I hung on to that scrap of paper until it became so worn it was as soft as satin. I've sent Gerber Daisies to a work place, put flowers under a windshield for someone to find in the morning, and even slipped them through a cracked car window in 100 degree summer sun, only for the recipient to find them wilted on their front seat. Why? Probably because I've held the concept and possibility of finding true love above anything else in my life. It is what it is I guess, no shame, no regrets. Optimistic with possibility, but cursed by longing.

In lighter news, another NASCAR road trip extravaganza is in the works! Daytona here we come? More news as it develops.

Was it Jessica Alba day in France today? I have about 3o hits on my blog from all different regions of France, all looking for Jessica Alba images. Can't say I blame em. Tonite was the battle of the Bulldog Style Mascots, the JMU Dukes came to town to battle the Georgetown Hoyas. It wasn't pretty. G-Town won 89-53. Maybe it was the 16/31 3 pointers the Hoyas made. The night was made great though because JD, TD and I ate in the Accela club, something I've always wanted to do. Looking forward to JD's big Christmas/Holiday bash. It's been about 5 years since the last one, and they have a reputation for being off the hooooook! So full, so tired, off to saw logs.
